Cactus has a long straight
roots far into
the soil and roots - along with many

water even though there is little
water in the soil. Once inhaled, the water
stored in a protected shaft skin is thick and
thorny. As a result, the cactus stem bulge.

uses the water reserves
stored in the trunk.

folds - the
creases. Conversely, when the rain, the cactus can
absorb water quickly
so that the stems of cactus become obese.
